Vybe has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out our standards, how to report a concern, and what we do about it.
zero tolerance, no exceptions
Vybe is made by Kai Technologies LLC. Child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and any behaviour that sexualises, grooms, endangers or exploits a minor, is absolutely prohibited on Vybe. There is no warning, no strike system, and no second chance for it.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real, edited or generated
- Sexualising a minor in images, video, audio, text or captions
- Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes
- Soliciting, offering, trading or advertising such material or contact
- Sextortion, coercion, or threatening to share a minor's images
- Any other behaviour that endangers, exploits or trafficks a child
How we prevent it
- Nobody under 13 can register. Vybe asks for a date of birth at signup and blocks accounts below our minimum age.
- Users under 18 are kept out of public reach. They do not appear in discovery or search, and their profiles are not visible to people who are not their friends.
- Strangers cannot message you. Direct messages only open between people who have accepted each other as friends.
- The public venting feed is 18 and over. It is closed to minors entirely.
- Posts to that feed pass an abuse classifier on our own servers before they publish.
- Every profile and every post can be reported, blocked or hidden by any user, at any time.
Reporting inside the app
Tap the … menu on any profile to report, block or remove that person. The same menu on any post, comment or yap reports that content.
Reports reach us directly and are reviewed by a person.
Reporting to us directly
You do not need an account to report a child safety concern. Write to us and a person will read it.

- We review it promptly, and remove violating content within 24 hours of confirming it
- We terminate the accounts involved and block the people behind them from returning
- We preserve the relevant records rather than destroying them
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement and the relevant national and regional authorities as the law requires
Compliance
We comply with all applicable child safety laws in the regions where Vybe is available, including United States federal reporting obligations, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store guidelines. Our standards apply to every part of Vybe, including private journals, walls, boards, direct messages and public feeds.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also contact the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
